Does visiting LinkedIn profiles with the extension refresh candidate data in Findem?
Yes. Every LinkedIn profile you visit while the Findem Extension is active triggers a profile data refresh in Findem. That keeps the candidate's contact information, career history, and signals current without any manual update step.
Can the Findem Extension cause LinkedIn to restrict my account?
LinkedIn may temporarily restrict accounts that open a high volume of profiles in a short window — the extension can contribute to that pattern. Opening candidates one at a time using the Next button inside the extension, rather than rapidly opening many tabs, reduces that risk. If LinkedIn does restrict your account, stop the activity, follow LinkedIn's on-screen instructions, and contact Findem Support if LinkedIn asks for information about tools in use.
Does the Findem Extension work with LinkedIn Recruiter?
Yes. The extension works across both LinkedIn free accounts and LinkedIn Recruiter accounts.
How does the Getro Contact Sync extension handle privacy?
Getro acts as the sole data processor for contact information synced through the extension. You control what gets shared outside your fund, email data can stay private when sharing lists externally, and all personally identifiable information is handled in compliance with GDPR and CCPA.
