Surface more top candidates with flexible Location & Timezone attributes

These product updates highlight the latest features, enhancements, and integrations designed to help you and your team work smarter, move faster, and get more value from Findem.
Discover a smarter way to expand your talent pool. Findem now lets your team treat location and timezone as “nice-to-have” (NTH) attributes. That means you can prioritize local or time-compatible profiles, without restricting results to only those candidates.
What’s new
- Location & timezone flexibility: Mark location and timezone as NTH to boost profiles that meet your preferences, while keeping others in view.
- Expanded talent pools: Open up searches for distributed or remote-friendly roles while still highlighting local matches.
- Real-world alignment: Adapt searches quickly to the realities of flexible and global hiring.
Note: ‘Location view’ still treats these as must-have attributes when you want focused local searches.
Why it matters
Talent teams are hiring across more geographies than ever. Making location or timezone a strict requirement often screens out qualified candidates who could thrive in your workforce.
By setting these filters as NTH, you see the best of both worlds: candidates who meet your preferences and top talent outside your immediate region.
For example, a Europe-based team searching for a manager role can still prioritize local applicants, but also surface highly qualified candidates outside the region who bring unique skills and perspectives.
How to get started
This update is available to all customers. Go to the External tab, open filters on the left, and under Location, toggle location or timezone to “nice-to-have.”
