Context is everything: Introducing a new Findem

Careers are complex. Most HR systems treat them like summaries.

A resume flattens a career into a timeline. A profile compresses experience into bullet points. When that happens, important signals about a person disappear.

The role that didn't work out but left battlescars. The referral that opened a door no job posting ever could. The side hustle that turned into a billion dollar company.

Some of the most consequential business decisions leaders make are decisions about people: who to hire, who to promote, who to place a bet on.

But, too often, those decisions are made with incomplete context.

At Findem, we believe there is a better way to make people decisions. Today, we're introducing a brand built around that belief.

Why the brand needed to change

Over the past few years, Findem has grown far beyond our original brand.

What began as a powerful way to search for and source talent has evolved into something more foundational. Customers use Findem not just to find candidates, but to understand them in context — their journeys, networks, and the experiences that shaped what they're capable of next.

At the same time, the HR tech category has become harder to navigate. Spend a few minutes in the market and you'll see the same promises: better data, AI-powered platforms, nearly identical messaging. Every conference booth looks the same. Every product claims the same outcomes.

For leaders trying to make real decisions about real people, the noise makes it harder to see what matters.

Our brand needed to catch up to our company.

A new narrative

Not just more data. Not just faster workflows. Great people decisions require more than surface-level information. They require context, the kind that helps leaders understand how experience shapes potential. How people learn and how people grow, as careers unfold and positions and roles change around them. Great hiring has always been about the future.

Every career has two versions. There's the visible one: titles, promotions, and companies. Signals of success and the accolades that follow. Then there's the one beneath the surface; the work that built those skills, how someone managed a difficult quarter, the risks that shaped judgment, what they learned in the roles that didn't go as planned. Those are the signals which live outside formal summaries.

Findem is built to connect those signals — across careers, companies, and networks — revealing patterns traditional systems can’t see.

A new visual identity

Our visual identity reflects this shift in how we think about people and potential.

In a category dominated by blue, green, and purple gradients, we chose a different direction. The new Findem palette centers on yellow, black, and off-white. We chose these colors to signal energy, clarity, and optimism while visually standing apart from many of the visual conventions of enterprise software.

The goal is simple: a brand that feels as confident and distinctive as the outcomes we’re committed to delivering to our customers.

The mark

At the center of the identity is a stylized "F" built from simple shapes representing people viewed from multiple perspectives. Each shape reflects a different angle on a person's story; together they create the full mark.

The design is intentionally simple: precise enough to represent the uniqueness of our data and technology, but human enough to honor the people at the center of every decision.

The design system

We call the new system Illuminate. The name reflects what the platform does: revealing truth within complex data and helping leaders see people more clearly.

Across the brand you'll also notice a shift in imagery. Instead of abstract diagrams or generic AI visuals, the system emphasizes real people and dimensional forms that reflect the complexity of human potential.

What isn’t changing

While the brand is new, the foundation of Findem remains the same.

Our mission is unchanged: to help leaders build stronger teams by understanding how experience shapes potential. Our commitment to responsible AI and data integrity continues to guide how we build and deploy our products.

And the platform our customers rely on, from the data and insights to the capabilities that power better talent outcomes, remains the same.

What comes next

Over the coming weeks you'll start to see the new Findem across our website, product experience, events, and content.

But the visual changes are only part of the story. What matters more is the belief behind them.

People decisions shape careers, cultures, and the future of companies themselves. They deserve better context, and better systems to turn insight into action.

That’s what the new Findem represents: a future where potential is visible before it’s obvious.
