Findem year in review: 2022

2022 was the year of flux for hiring and recruiting. From the Great Resignation to widespread cuts across big tech, companies, employees, and job-seekers have never seen such uncertainty in the market.

Would organizations ask workers to come back to the office full-time? Could a recession hit the economy? How would the next generation of workers fare in today’s offices?

At Findem, we focused on these questions, too. We continued to evolve our platform, making it easier for companies to find the talent they’ve been missing. We received feedback, shared research with the talent community, and made a few new friends along the way.

Join us for a look back at 2022 and check out these predictions for 2023.

Invested in evolving our platform

Findem kicked off the year with a special announcement — we’d raised $30 million in Series B financing. We used the funding to make more aspects of the platform available to hiring teams and expanded to parsing job board applications for qualified candidates.

Added managed services to support TA teams

We made it easier for recruiting teams — at companies small and large — to find and hire qualified candidates by launching Sourcing Accelerator.

As part of the managed service, a dedicated sourcing expert works directly with hiring managers and recruiters to build and refine talent searches, launch customized email campaigns, engage with candidates and conduct phone screens — and then delivers qualified candidates directly to the team. Customers have filled open positions in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of using an agency.

Expanded the Findem Platform for ATS Rediscovery and Talent CRM

Sourcing is just one important piece of the hiring and recruiting puzzle. Increasingly, talent teams are hiring and promoting from within or sourcing from past candidates — all from a single search.

That’s why we added Candidate Rediscovery and Talent CRM solutions to the Findem Platform. Now, a recruiter can mine their ATS to rediscover interested candidates or nurture talent communities for more proactive hiring.

Became a Greenhouse preferred partner

When combined with industry leaders like Greenhouse, the Findem Platform can improve the experience for everyone involved in the hiring and recruiting process. As a preferred partner and key integration with Greenhouse, Findem:

  • Updates candidate profiles stored in Greenhouse
  • Creates automatic searches for matches to open roles
  • De-duplicates information between the platform and Greenhouse
  • Provides attribute-based analytics of specific talent pools
  • Delivers full visibility into each stage of the talent pipeline

Identified DEIB and automation as top recruiting trends

The Recruiting Trends Report identified diversity recruiting as a continuing challenge and automation as a top priority among the 100 talent leaders surveyed for their insights. Although the end of the year looked quite different from the beginning in terms of hiring and recruiting, these 2 trends continue to play an important role in talent leaders’ strategies.

Connected with talent leaders on important topics

We were lucky enough to host industry leaders and customers in conversation about topics that matter to the industry. In case you missed them, you can watch replays of a few of our favorites here:

Increased attention on veteran hiring with Project Legion

Right around Veterans Day, we joined a coalition of leading employers and human resources professionals to launch Project Legion. Powered by the Findem platform, Project Legion is improving the chances that veteran candidates are considered and hired for open positions by creating a continuous pipeline of veteran talent to partner companies.

Launched The Shortlist for talent teams

We all need a little help meeting our goals, and recruiters, sourcers, and talent leaders are no different. . That’s why we launched The Shortlist, a monthly newsletter filled with recruiting tips, free resources, and people news to make the entire process a little easier. (Add your name to the subscription list at the bottom of this page!)

The reviews are in on Findem

In 2022, we achieved 5 stars on G2 software reviews and received the Brandon Hall Technology Excellence Award for Best Advance in Emerging TA Tech. It’s been a bumpy year for talent teams everywhere. But Findem is here to help you find the talent you’re looking for — whether that’s reaching out to the talent within your network or outbounding to fresh prospects.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support. Here’s to another successful year in 2023 🥳.
