The new Company Research App centralizes all of that work. You can now discover, filter, and organize companies by detailed criteria — industry, funding stage, business model, investor, and more — directly inside the Executive Search Platform. It’s a faster, more scalable way to define your market, validate search strategy, and operationalize research across downstream mapping and engagement.
What’s new
- Company-level discovery: Search across a live company database and filter by industry, company stage, funding status, organization type, or investor to define precise target markets.
- Enriched profiles: Access detailed company pages with funding rounds, investor lists, headcount, verified domains, and other enrichment from Crunchbase and Findem data.
- Smart shortlisting: Bookmark companies or add them in bulk to lists. Use AI to identify related companies or fill in gaps when your list needs broader coverage.
- Dynamic research lists: Build market maps that function like ICP-style research lists, refine them in real time, and convert them into reusable company lists for other Findem apps.
- Integrated workspace: Work in a familiar table view from the Executive Search Platform, with built-in sorting, pagination, and bulk actions.

How to get started
- From the Findem navigation, open Company Research under the Executive Search workspace.
- Click “Create New” to start a research list. Build with AI, upload existing research, or paste company names to centralize your work you've already done.
- Apply filters such as industry, location, company stage, or investor to generate results.
- Bookmark or bulk-select companies of interest.
- When ready, click “Use in Other Apps” to convert your research list into a company list used across Findem’s modules.
